“As far as I can remember, love comes from my mother and my father.
My mother was a very religious woman, and she showed me love is, as far as I remember, it’s about helping. Helping others. The love that my mother planted in my heart, that’s what I’m using today. You know? Just put people in front of you, first and help. Help others. Help ones in need, before yourself, and I’m proud of doing the same thing to others.
Well, I grew up in a little village in Vava’u, Tonga, and moved to Tongatapu in ’72, I think. Something like that. Moved to New Zealand in ’85, and I think it’s, that’s all I can tell about my history.
For myself, just love. You know? Give love to people, if they need, and look after yourself, too. That’s all I can say.”
