“Last year I went to the UK, and I was travelling around the UK, and I met this girl, and we started dating for a bit, and she came over the following year, and I recently went back to go see her.
So, I just got back this morning from the UK, and she’s moving over next year. So, that’s probably my first-love story.
She came over and stayed with my parents for a couple of weeks. They got along quite well. It’s kind of weird, because she’s Asian herself, but was born in the UK, and I’m Asian myself, but was born here. So, it’s interesting to see how we’re different, but similar at the same time. We’re doing the long-distance thing at the moment, but she wants to move over, and I think it’s pretty serious from there.
I think it, what love is to me is, it’s something that you’re excited to share your day with someone, you know, when you do something exciting. It’s the first person you think about while that experience is going on. So, love’s just something that you can share with someone, like your life experiences and that.
My parents are from Malaysia, and I was born here, and I think valuing your culture and family is big for me, being Asian, and just embracing your culture.”
