I mean, I’ve been finding my own ways, and I don’t have much to say I’ve regretted, but I’ll find my own way with hard work.

For me, important is, you know, community. I like to work with and alongside the community, help each other, and grow together. Everything is man-made. You can achieve every goal in your life if you are dedicated and, and also, if you dedicate to the community, which gives you the fuel and energy to your dedicated work, and that’s why I’ll find my own way.

I’m a religious person. I belong to Sikhism, and our belief is in humanity and the community, and we help others and that’s where we get our fuel and energy to work, for dedication.

I’m from India, Punjabi, and I was born in India. I came to New Zealand in 1989, and I have worked in a business for the last 15 years now. I’ve been in Ōtara Business Association from last 10 years, working for Ōtara and Papatoetoe centres for security and safety. I work in Ōtara Town Centre as a centre manager.”
