“The best thing that’s happened to me recently is my five-year-old daughter just started school, and she is just like a duck to water; she’s absolutely doing great.
Last week, my very good friend came back from her holiday, to work. My work is lovely, don’t get me wrong; but my friend came back to work, and that makes work that much more enjoyable.
I grew up in Hawke’s Bay, Napier; a very lovely place. I moved here when I was 14. I value everything in life; happiness, love, kindness to others, and being your best you. I’m a nurse. I work at LynnMall Hospital; I reckon a very, very good hospital. I work at the plastics and reconstruction services, and we do great things there. I love my job, love the people that I work with, love the hospital, love the people, and I’m very lucky to serve our community.
I’ve got three children – they are seven, five, and three. It’s kind of like my purpose in life. It made me do what I’m doing now. It made me career-driven. I was a teen-mum, and now I’m a nurse. So, that’s pretty cool. I’m really happy that I can be their mum, and be a good role model. Well, trying to be.
I live in Onehunga, the best suburb in Auckland.”
