“I’m living far from my family, so I spend more time with my friends, my colleagues. So, not that [lonely], but still, because I’m alone here, far from my family. So, that is some kind of loneliness with me all the time.
I just try to go out with my friends. Like use my time to do more things, keep myself busy. That helps, actually. Till I was a teenager I was in India. Up there life is totally different from here. I had a very social life up there with my friends, my relatives, and my family. So, here I’m not too social a person here, because I don’t have too many friends, but a few which is pretty good. But they’re always busy with their work and studies and everything. Auckland is pretty good. Like, if you’re living here, you’ll experience the variety of fun things here but on the other hand there is very costly. If you’re not making a good money here, you can’t enjoy all the living things. That’s what I think.
I’m not that kind of person who you know, to be depressed because I have no friends or something. I just always try to cheer up myself, so I always go to my friends, to call them over the phone, or go to their places to meet them, or sometimes they come over. So, it’s like vice versa; whenever I go to their place, start having a drink, or going out for dinner or for party or something. So, that will always help to cheer myself up. So, that is pretty okay with me, now.”
