“My name is Celine. Now I’m living in Massey.
Maybe if there are serious little things in life, it makes me worried. Sometimes if I need to prepare for tests in my study, or I need to respond to some questions from my parents or friends, all of them mixed together, I’m afraid whether I can complete them all. I need to arrange them in the next semester, I need to complete all the subjects to pass some certification or qualifications that can improve my performance.
Before I grew up in my country China, and now I’m going to study at Massey University to complete a masters degree. So now I’m far away from my parents and my friends in China, and I live alone.
Especially at first I missed my parents and my friends. When I am bored I call my parents. I call my parents or my friends. I’m very bored but I cannot do activities or I cannot face them in that time, but that’s real life. I need to do some things myself.
Actually, I am not a very strong person. I’m a little bit shy, and maybe I rely heavily on my friends or other people. But now it’s only myself here, I need to overcome some emotional loss to get some new friends. Sometimes I think that maybe I am likely to be missing them, but I met some new friends here, and maybe in the future I will meet some new expert friends, my teachers, and someone else, and now with the social media development, I think I will not miss my friends in my country.”
