“My wife and I have recently had a little baby girl, and the home-care nurse just came and visited us in our house, and she brought a lovely plastic bag full of presents that were knitted by ladies in the community.
She brought a beautiful hand-knitted cardigan and a knitted toy. It was just a pleasure to receive that from someone for mothers who are spreading some love.
Kindness is absolutely essential if you’ve got a large group of people who want to get together and live peacefully. It just, it’s so rewarding when you, yourself do a random act of kindness for somebody that you don’t know, and it’s so rewarding when someone does a random act of kindness for you. That’s what makes life worth living.
I was born here in New Zealand, and I have spent all of my life growing up in Manurewa. One thing that’s important to me is family, and just over my life I’ve just learned that it’s important to be grateful for what you have, and to live every day as if it were your last, and appreciate that time that you can spend with each other. ”
