“Hi my name is Sneha and I have recently moved to Auckland. So, I’m from India. So in India, as long as I was working as a professional HR I used to always contribute a little bit of my savings to UNICEF.
So, there was a NGO, basically who used to gather these funds in order to fund an education for all these children who are in poverty, who cannot afford education. They used to fund it for food. So, I used to contribute a part of my savings, or of my earnings into that. My mum now happily runs an NGO, so she takes care of a Foundation. She is basically taking care of all the older people like whatever they need, or you know, just maybe spending some time with them, taking care of their groceries, maybe for the month, and now recently she started spreading the message for education for children. So, I feel these are a little kind acts that we were doing there, and right now, I’ve just moved here, so I look forward to helping the most.
Yeah, it’s pretty important to be really kind and generous, because I feel that should be one of the core values of humanity. With a lot of things which are spreading around, maybe seeing the less fortunate ones, I think we should be pretty much helping no matter wherever we are, no matter whatever we are doing, no matter whichever position we are in, as long as we are just doing good to raise them, or their living standards, or we are doing good to give them enough of a living. I think that really counts a lot, and I think that’s one of the core values of humanity. Kindness should just be a part of it.”
