“Just spent time with friends doing in-the-moment things. You know? Just enjoy life on the edge, I suppose, when I get a chance to.
I value morals and family most importantly. I wouldn’t be who I am or where I am without my family and without my upbringing or my morals I’ve been brought up with in life. I think, to have morals in life is to have a certain knowledge of how the world works, and how you want to be in life, how you want that world to include you, I suppose. It’s just the way you’re raised, the way you want to basically be in the world, and how you want to live your life, almost by example, and you want to do as best as you can, wherever you can in life, and not make any big mistakes.
Well at the hospital, I work amongst people every time I’m there, I just enjoy interacting with people and helping people. It comes back down to my upbringing, you know? I look after people, a lot from just my own experience. I look after people like they’re family or they’re friends. I look after them, and imagine myself in their shoes, and think, how would I like to be treated? I treat them the same I would like to be treated. It goes back to just self-worth and self-importance. It goes back to basically being how you want to be in life, how you want to feel in life. If you want to be accepted, you want to feel good with yourself. If you want to feel worthy, you want to feel important and meaningful to someone else, other than your own self. You want to feel part of life in general I suppose. I love it. I love helping people. I love helping people in every possible way I can, and going above and beyond, in most every instance.
Just enjoying life overall. Just living life in the moment. I grew up in Whangarei. I’ve been in Auckland 17 years now. I love every bit of it, it’s what I call home. It’s where I feel most comfortable, most relaxed and settled. I like the diversity of the city. I like the open ambience, the unusualness of it. I like just the general atmosphere of the city. It’s just a very vibrant, happy, mixed kind of place.”
