“I was born in Fiji and I came here in New Zealand when I was two. So I’ve been here for 16 years and my motive in life is to keep happy and laugh all the time, and not be sad, and share good vibes with other people.
Recently I joined the church.. I joined the church and they helped me. They helped me get into the shape I am right now. Before I used to be not that happy. I wasn’t that happy in school and I wasn’t doing well in my studies, but then they helped me get back on track.
My mum took me to the church that she went to, so they helped me. They… they gave me counselling and all.
I go to the gym now and I also joined the Sunday social league football team. So that keeps me busy as well, and that keeps my mind fresh and helps me focus a lot more in life. It gives me goals. I’m a more positive person now.
I just advise people to be themselves. You know? So it doesn’t matter what, how you are, just carry on being yourself, because if someone has to like you, they’ll like you for who you are.”
