“I’m a musician by trade.  A young entrepreneur as well.  Being a sole trader it can be a bit complicated at times. There can be some struggle in terms of taking a lot of risk with life in general, but I think it’s all about seeing the bigger picture in life and understanding what you can create for yourself as a human being.

What I do by trade is I’m a musician, so I travel around a lot.  I get to meet a lot of different kinds of people. I put myself in different situations all the time, and I guess I call that being brave. Dealing with things that you don’t know are going to happen. It creates a lot of anxiety in my life, and I think that’s what brave is being about, and it’s all about seeing the bigger picture on the other side, and understanding that you’ve got to push through whatever struggles you can to have the best outcome in life and just look at life on a more positive scale than negative.  That’s being brave.

When you take a risk, you don’t know what’s on the other side, but I think the biggest learning curve that you do learn through that is that you’re actually stronger than you think. I guess every obstacle you do come to face and overcome, it gives you that little bit more confidence to understand that you can take on bigger things in life, and I think that’s something that I’ve learned, is just taking everything head-on, and making sure that I stay persistent and try push through to the other side.

I think it’s just about being brave, and trying to do what’s best for yourself and those around you, and hopefully inspiring the rest of the world to do something better, and shed love and light at the same time.

So I was born in Wellington, moved to Australia in 2005, did all my high school years in Brisbane, moved back here in 2012. I signed a record deal here in New Zealand, and I’ve been here ever since. Now I’m doing my own stuff independently, but yeah, I’m a singer, bro.”
