“I think personally I connect quite deeply with strangers. So, I do it all the time. I’ve done it many times today. I make a point of it.
About five minutes ago in the sushi shop. How deep do you want the connection to be?
Just one example; I just received an email this morning. Somebody had done a great job for me, well and over and beyond what I expected, and I’d sent him a couple of movie tickets, and it was such joy coming back from him saying, that’s such a surprise, thank you, unexpected. It’s nice when it does come back, but I would have done it without, I guess. So, it’s just the joy of it.
I grew up in Northern Germany, and I grew up in the country, and I value the space. I grew up on a forest boundary with community and with nature, and animals, and friends and family, and I’m finding that those are still my core values.
I think we come with a gift, and we come with our own light, and it’s just nice to share it and see it reflected. I think that’s how it was intended to be. Naturally, it’s wonderful, and it comes back, doesn’t it, but that’s not what it’s about, right? It’s a nice side effect.”
