Anthony |Mt Roskill

“Hello, my name’s Anthony. I’m from Mt Roskill, and all I can think of so far is being caught up with work. I actually got one of the boys to cover me at work, which was pretty important to me, if that counts.

I was born in Brisbane, and I’ve been here basically all my life. I’m Samoan, 22. I believe reputation, and loyalty are the most important because that’s where you get the trust you have and all your close mates. Just in choosing your friends; a lot of them can be, like boys and all that like, around you, but they might go around and say something else to the other people around you. Just be careful about who you choose to be around.

So at work, we try and build a family-friendly relationship with each other, so that it’s easier to communicate with each other. Then we get more comfortable asking around like if we need help around work, we’ll know that we’ve got each other’s backs. So that we’re all basically on the same page.

It was just for family and personal reasons that I really needed to take that day off, but it’s actually good to have loyal friends who are willing to help you out when they need them the most.”
