Who has changed your life?

The person who has most changed the life of Cameron (Wellington) is his wife Billie. 

I’m gonna say my wife. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We met over in Australia and pretty much my life has never been better since I met her. Yeah so, Billie, I love you babe.

The day we were gonna get married, and this is my girl Pineapples here, and we’re walking along the river in Christchurch talking about all the things we’re gonna do once we’re married later on in the day, you know.

And we noticed all of a sudden that Pineapples has disappeared. So where she is, is she’s, gone through the swamp and she’s bailed up a swan.

Or more realistically, the swans bailed her up. So I’m like, crawling out to this dog through a swamp. I’ve got my jandles over my hands to try and get through the, you know, knee highs.

So I get back with the dog, Billie’s, taking care of Pineapples. I’m literally picking twigs and brambles and sh** out of my hair and we went off and we got married straight after.

And the whole thing was, was that Pineapples was supposed to be the ring bearer, and we were like, “nope she’s not doing it now.”

I guess anyone else in my life, I think, would have been a little bit upset about the whole situation. Perfect day kind of thing, ruined. But she just laughed, we just laughed together, we just thought it was the funniest thing.

And it’s always going to be that story for us. It’s just the sheer comedy of our dog on our special day.

You ever meet someone and you just kind of, click? And even though you haven’t been together for that long, it feels like you’ve been together all your lives?

Yeah, that’s what it’s like with Billie, as it’s like finding your other half really aye.
