Rocio | Glenfield
“Hi, my name is Rocio. I’m from Chile. My home? Here in Glenfield, is my home. Anyone? I really want my grandfather, but he’s died, but I think that would be really nice.
To talk about, like, this moment, like, you know where I am? I’m in New Zealand and talk like that. Or, maybe my grandmother, my Lala. That’d be nice, because my grandfather died when I was a child. I think it would be really great, because obviously sometimes your grandfather says, oh you can do this, this is good for your life, you know these things, and you say, mm-hm. But I hope my grandfather is proud, maybe.
Yes, I want to say you changed my life like 100 per cent. I always say, I love you, I love you, thank you so much for all the time you give me, the breakfast, the really good breakfast, that I remember. Thank you for giving me my parents. I’m really happy about all my family, and the people who share my life. I’m really happy with every single people I met here.
I’m from Chile, and I finish my university last year in July, and I was working. I finished my university but I was thinking it was, all the same all the time, so I did buy a ticket to New Zealand and apply for my working holiday, and now I’m here, and I like it. I have my work, and I have a project here for a few years more, and now I have my boyfriend from New Zealand. It’s good now.”
