“The last time I felt thankful and grateful actually would have been last night when I was going through my journal and writing down all the things that I have to be appreciative of, and all the things I want to achieve in my life.
I had a couple of experiences in my life a few years ago where I had a bit of a mental breakdown. That kind of pushed me into growing and realising that you know what is really important, which is love, positivity, gratitude, and that kind of set me off on a journey of self-discovery, healing and discovering what life is really about.
I have a lot of mentors that I follow online, and friends around me whose goal is to create your life and live happy and be positive, and be in the now, and so they inspire me really to keep going. It can be quite difficult in the world where a lot of people aren’t awake or aware of you know, that they have the power to control their life and to control their state and to feel good, so yeah. I think just following certain people who are at the place where I want to get really helps and inspires me to keep going.
Writing things down is a very powerful tool, because it’s like you’re getting what’s compacted in your mind and getting it on paper and then you’re aware more of your thought patterns and habits. So, that’s one, one thing you can do. Another thing is deep breathing, it’s what I do, and that gets me focused on the inner-body, gets me focused in the moment, which clears my thinking. That way I can create new habits and new thought patterns, which are more beneficial.”
