Oh, bring my, bring my son to school, instead of dropping, my wife dropping him, and the school bus picking him up.

That would be quite good, yeah. Maybe I’ll sit in my café and not serve customers, but be a customer for a change, yeah.

I, I do have a café in the city, and I just purchased another business in Mission Bay. Yeah, so café starts, opens about six in the morning, so got to be there by 5:30-5:45. My son has to be in school by seven, so that’s not a luxury that I do have, but yeah that would be nice, nice to do that. I mean, if that would happen, that would be exciting for me as well. I mean, it would be a change for my son.

At the same time, you know it’s, it’s nice to see him, you know, go down from the car and you know, go with his class mates and you know see how he engages with his classmates. That, that will be really, really good.

Yeah, well that’s the thing, money or business is made for you to have provision for you and your family, and those are the things that money can’t buy. You know? In my business, in my career, I have to be where my business is, and by saying that, sometimes it demands more of my time, but by saying that, it’s more that you, I have a choice, and also, I do have the priority to prioritise more of my family rather than the work of course.

I grew up in the Philippines. Came into New Zealand 2010. What I value in life? Whatever, whatever God tells me to do. I’m not a religious person. I’m more for relationship with God, yeah you can say. So money doesn’t matter. People are what matters. That’s how I, that’s how I see it, yeah.”
