“I reckon from now on it’s, it’s just better if the communities work together, and one thing I’ve realised after this event that’s happened is everyone’s created a stronger relationship, and they’re looking beyond culture, ethnicity and coming together as humanity.
So yeah, understanding that one overall concept is what’s you know, formed after that event. Yeah, and I reckon we should all work together and show that things like these never happen again. Not, not only the, saying this to the local communities, but to the police as well.
I see everyone as my brother and sisters. I just want to tell them not to worry, we’re all here for you guys, we’re here every step of the way, and we’re here to fill your needs, so don’t ever feel like you’re being left out, because New Zealand’s not like that. We, you know, all work together and we’re going to show that everyone has everything they need, and feel safe in this country, because this country doesn’t condone violence of any such. We’re always going to show love and respect to everyone, no matter what group of ethnicity, culture you are from.
Been brought up here my whole life. Came at a young age from India. I spent most my life here in New Zealand, and yeah, it’s an amazing country, multi-cultural.”
