“I like that it was in a very loving environment and that I was just, my parents let me, open to express my feelings, and do what I felt, basically.
I guess gave me a lot of responsibility and it just, I feel made me grow more as a person.
I was born in Auckland at Auckland Hospital. I grew up in Mt Eden. So, I’ve lived here my whole life, and got quite strong family values, we enjoy having an open relationship and talking and just being open about anything, really. Just make sure we know we can talk to each other, just rely on everyone in the family and yeah, make sure we all have each other’s back.
I don’t think I would have changed anything. I think I’ve done everything as I would have liked, out of everything I’ve learned growing up, I just guess I’ve done everything as I have.
We had a family trip in Fiji when I was younger, and I guess just relaxing by the pool, and spending time with my family was quite fun. Then, went on a trip with my best family as well. It was like our two families combined, and that was just good spending time with each other, and getting to know each other better, and bonding, I guess are good memories for me.”
