“I had fun the other week at a concert with my friends.
Yeah, that was probably the last time. It was at this rapper’s concert, GoldLink, and we went to the after-party afterwards, and he was really close to us, and it was really fun, and me and my friends have been listening to him for a few years, so it was really fun. We all got to go together, and he was so close to us, yeah.
I’m not really sure if I’ve used fun as like an escape for difficult times. I think I probably more just like sit down, have a conversation instead of just doing something fun. I’m not very spontaneous.
I grew up in Māngere Bridge, I’ve lived in Auckland my entire life. I think family and friends is probably the most important thing in my life at the moment. Working is an additional thing, but I think friends and family definitely is like my circle. I think when you get older, doing enjoyable things becomes more like a chore. I kind of feel like that already, like it’s kind of hard to pencil in time for fun things, aside from doing work or going to work.”
