Anne – Waterview

“The last message I sent was in a birthday card for my son.

It’s his birthday tomorrow; Mike – happy birthday! He was a policeman but he’s now in repossession. I’ve been divorced a few times, but my family are the most important thing to me. I have two sons, two daughters, and five grandchildren, and I love them dearly.

I think to make Auckland a happy place you should talk to people and smile and be open-minded to folk. I smile. I smile a lot. That’s good for humanity. Going to certain cafes and relating to the public each day you can connect with people, families, and the older folk.

I go from Waterview to Pt Chev every day on the bus and I have my own seat, and I go to the Coco Café. Everyone’s friendly and it’s just neat. I know them by name and they say hi Annie! I’ve made three close friends through the cafe, and they’re lovely people.”

What, if anything, have you done differently after visiting this site?
